Whether you’ve taken lessons before or you’re brand new to the world of horseback riding, we are excited to have you join us at the barn.

  • Please review the Perennial Farm rules and policies. It would be lovely if you’d sign the release form right away.

  • Jeans or leggings and boots (no tennis shoes) are appropriate attire for the lesson. Additionally, riders are required to wear a helmet  We’ve also attached some photos to give you an idea of what our students typically wear along with a list of local tack stores where you can purchase everything you need.

  • A bottle of water and sunscreen are recommended. It can get hot out there!

  • For your introductory lesson, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time. Once you are able to tack your own horse or pony, we encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes early so you can be sure to start your lesson on time.

  • We’re located across the street from Ballast Point Park at 5305 Interbay Blvd. You can enter from the street through the metal gate - just be sure to shut it behind you. You may park in the areas in front of the rings and paddocks, but please be mindful that you aren’t blocking any gates with your vehicle. There is also a public parking lot located just outside the main ring.

    Once you get onto the property, you’ll see a small barn to your right. Head on in and a working student will be there to greet you, introduce you to your horse or pony and get you ready for your lesson.

  • Online Credit Card payment through EC Pro at the time of registration.

  • Lessons must be cancelled through EC Pro 24 hours prior to your lesson in order for your token to be returned.

    Verbal, text, or emailed cancellations will not be accepted.  This agreement may be canceled by either party with at least 30 days written notice before the desired date of termination, however, no refunds will be given.

  • Please do not expect a confirmation prior to each lesson. We will contact you in plenty of time if your lesson is canceled for weather or any other reason.
